The start of voting by mail, CEC appears with notice of exiles part of the list and some registered for physical voting

Today, the voting process outside Kosovo has begun for Kosovo citizens, who are registered to vote via mail in early elections for the Kosovo Assembly.
The CEC has clarified that this 17-day period (May 21st, June 6th, 2026) will only apply to around 105 thousand citizens who have managed to register successfully as voters outside Kosovo and who have chosen to vote through mail.
Part of this list are citizens who were initially registered for physical voting in diplomatic representation, but because the number of voters in these representatives has failed to pass over 50, the same have automatically been passed on to voters' status through mail, and have been announced by the CEC
“04/2025 for registration and voting outside Kosovo, The CEC will make sure that Kosovo citizens registered for voting by mail forward the package via balloting mail”, said the report.
The package that will be sent to registered voters contains: Voter guide; ballot; secret envelope; and turning envelope.
The voter's duty is to hand the package to the CEC post box in the state where registered voter lives. In countries where the CEC has not opened mailboxes, the voter should sign the postbox address for voting via post office in the nearest state. All details of the voting procedure, voters will find on the voting guide, which is located in the package.
“on any mail delivery is set up by a particular number of tracking and sending to registered voters who can constantly see the location of their ballot package. The CEC invites registered voters to attention that any mail shipment should be individual”, the announcement noted.
