European Commissioners to Visit Turkey Ahead of NATO Summit

EU foreign policy chief Kaya Kallas along with European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos and European Commissioner for Home Affairs and Migration Magnus Brunner will visit Turkey on 29 June-30 June.

The visit comes ahead of NATO Summit in Ankara, to be held on 7-8 July, AA reports, broadcasts Periscope.

"Visita will be able to review EU-Turkey relations, discuss common challenges in an increasingly unstable geopolitical environment and explore additional ways for co-operation, with Turkey being NATO candidate and ally", the bloc said in a statement.

This will be Kallas' second official visit to Turkey. /Periscope
