Politologist Agon Maliqi has asked an important question for incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
Commenting on the government's refusal approach to the US gas project, he has asked the government for an essential explanation on the issue.

Let's put American gas aside for a moment and take good care of it for the sake of the debate government's argument that we're not being loved. The government is insisting that Kosovo can meet its energy needs through a strategy based on 1) coal; 2) renewable energy; 3) heating co-generation; 4) investments in efficiency use. Do they have any explanation for Albin Kurti and his media spokespersons why no new significant capacity from renewable resources has been built, nor has it started to build these six years that he is prime minister? Excluded here are the two wind energy parks which were only inaugurated by Kurti but approved in Haradinaj government. A solar park in Rahovec of about 100 The following year, which was given a diaspora business (Orllati) in 2024 has not begun implementation”, he wrote, providing further details.
How is this confusion and neglect of the energy security that has increased our dependence on import explained? So far, in the absence of any other explanation, the only convincing explanation is the countless reports of millions of benefits from the electricity dealers whose money is probably being used to maintain the existing”, Maliqi wrote.
