Rama reacts to Zrvenec: It's about all the lies that's going around, private guards “

Prime Minister Edi Rama has warned that it will come out tomorrow in public communication to clarify details on the project in the Gervenec area.

The head of the government has stressed that it does not have any link to claims and “the major falsehoods” that, according to him, have been thrown into circulation in recent days.

Through a post on the X platform, Rama indicated that the project is the result of a several-year job and named it “an extraordinary project for Albania”.

I'm next to talk about an extraordinary project for Albania, which has been working on for several years now and has nothing to do with some major untruths, which have been put into circulation in the last few days”, writes the head of government.

In the same reaction, Rama commended the heads of the State Police for the way they reacted after incidents recorded in Zvrinec, where clashes between protesters and private security workers brought tensions and police intervention.

The prime minister praised the police's response to private security guards, naming their behaviour as “brushed brainless muscle”, while also welcoming measures taken against local police leaders in Vlora.

“The new amount of zero tolerance to any blue uniform that violates public confidence is the right”, Rama stressed.

The prime minister announced he would provide more details on the project and the debates raised around him tomorrow at 10:00, in an open-air communications to the public.
