The Special Court through a post on the official page at “X” has announced that the Judicial Chamber panel has approved the ongoing involvement against Thaci and others, even for two family members of the two victims who have passed away.
The specialist has indicated that this has caused the number of participating victims in the case to rise to 156.
On April 17, 2026, the Judicial Chamber approved a request by the Victims' Protector to allow two close relatives of a late victim to continue the victim's participation in the procedure.

This decision to accept the involvement of two young people in the procedure comes despite the fact that final words have already been said and the final decision by The Hague is expected.

According to Special Order, the Court may require another 60 days for making the decision in case of extraordinary circumstances.
