“Autori alleged in Serbia”, police clear the link between two false bomb threats in Pristina

Kosovo police report that today around 07:48, the Kosovo Police General Centre has accepted a call in the official number from a person who has communicated in the Serbian language, falsely claiming that a explosive tool ( bomb) was set up at the Bus station in Pristina.
“The South Police Station patrol units have been immediately taken to the scene, evacuated citizens, secured the perimeter, and taken all necessary measures to ensure public safety”.
After full and detailed control of the object and the surrounding area by specialised units, no suspected or explosive utility” has been found.
The competent prosecutor, who has authorised the initiative of the case for criminal action “, has been notified. False announcement or confession”, while investigations are continuing.
Police inform that the case is directly linked to the false threat of the date 22,06.2026, which targeted the same object.
The intensive investigations conducted by Kosovo Police, by the Cyber Crimes Investigation Directorate respectively, have resulted in both calls being carried out by the same phone number in Serbia. Also, evidence and other electronic data linking these cases to each other have been provided during technical and investigative tests, and are already part of the” investigative procedure, police point out.

Kosovo police announce public opinion that in 30.06.26, around 7:48, the Kosovo Police General Centre has accepted a call in the official number, from a person who has been communicating in the Serbian language, falsely claiming that an explosive vehicle was set up at the Bus station in Pristina.
Shortly after receiving the information, Kosovo police have reacted according to operational procedures for such cases. The South Police Station patrol units have been immediately taken to the scene, evacuated citizens, secured the perimeter, and taken all necessary measures to ensure public safety.
At the same time, specialised police units like: Blasting Tools Treatment Unit K9, police station investigators, regional investigators and other relevant Kosovo Police units. At the scene, fire units, ambulances and the Pristina Emergency and Community Directorate have also assisted.
After full and detailed search of the object and the surrounding area by specialised units, no suspected vehicles or explosive vehicles have been found. Following the completion of security procedures, the bus station has been reopened and continued to function normally.
