(an hour ago)On the eve of marking the 250th anniversary of the United States of America's Independence, the commander of the Kosovo Security Force hosted the US delegation from the “America250” initiative, led by professor Daniel Cerwer
According to media release, Jashar thanked the US delegation for their visit and dedication to promoting our country in the international arena, and praised the continued support the United States gives to the Republic of Kosovo, respectively, the close partnership and excellent co-operation between the Kosovo Security Force and the American defence institutions.
“also, General Jashari briefed members of the delegation for current developments and advancing the capacities of the Kosovo Security Force, as well as for its role in the country's security and the significant contribution to maintaining regional stability”, Periscopi reportedly broadcast.
On the other hand, Cerer and the US delegation reportedly praised the development and achievements of the Kosovo Security Force, as well as its contribution to international missions.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed the security situation in the region and exchanged views on the importance of advancing the Kosovo Security Force towards integration into Euro-Atlantic structures, respectively, into NATO and the European Union.
