Postal vote begins Thursday, the CEC appears in clarification for voters accepting reports

The Central Election Commission has come up with a clarification concerning voters registered for the June 7th election vote.
The CEC has suggested that it has prepared the ballot package for each registered voter who has selected this way of voting during the census and that so far a large number of them have been accepted by mail and sent to the addresses the following few days.
The CEC has clarified registered voters who are accepting textes or e-mails from the DHL, where each package has a tracking code through which voters can forward the delivery location.
“Also, the announcement conveyed by the economic operator allows voters to choose to accept the delivery to their address or to personally pull it to the nearest point of DHL”, the announcement concludes.
The CEC today has decided that the post office voting process will begin four days earlier than it has been scheduled, so 21 May.
This change of schedule is made after the announcement by the contractor for postal services that the DHL company and postal services in some European countries will not work on May 25, 2026 due to an official holiday, and as a result, during May 22nd, there will be no distribution and acceptance of remittances, the announcement said.
