Fear alert in Germany, Munich Airport temporarily closes

Flights to Munich Airport, one of Germany's largest airports, were temporarily suspended after reports of a threat to the flight track.
By Reuters, The event at the airport was suspended around 0900, after authorities received reports of a suspicious “survey” near the air operating area, Klankosova.tv broadcast.
German police confirmed that a potentially unauthorised flying object near the runway was reported, which immediately activated security procedures and led to the temporary suspension of air traffic.
As a result of the alarm, no flight was allowed to rise or land until the completion of security checks by competent authorities.
Numerous police forces were engaged at the scene, while a helicopter was used to demand suspected fears and to monitor the area around the airport.
According to local media reports, passengers were announced that the airport would remain closed until at least 10:00, until the necessary security verifications were completed.
However, after a search operation that lasted about an hour, authorities failed to find any suspicious objects or evidence that would confirm the Dron's presence.
About 10:05, the airport received approval to restore normal operations while flights resumed gradually.
The “Search conducted by Federal Police did not result in any suspicious findings”, a spokesman for authorities for German media said.
The event prompted temporary delays in air circulation and concern among passengers, while authorities are continuing investigations to clarify whether it was a real threat or a false alarm.
Such interventions are considered serious by German authorities, since any unauthorized object near flight tracks could pose a threat to the safety of aircraft and passengers.
