Event in Prizren: Undeclared gold and silver seized, worth over 460 thousand euros

According to the 24-hour police report, the four suspects after the interview were released in regular procedure.

The case was initiated as “Avoid paying mandatory customs tariffs” and “Avoid taxation”.

“Prirsren 2025, NN. In co-ordination with the prosecutor, raids have been conducted on six businesses, as well as three residential homes under suspicion that businesses conduct illegal activities, avoiding taxes on the sale of gold. During the search at the locals of four suspects one f/k and three Kosovo males have been found and sequencing undeclared gold at about 3.775.33 grams, undeclared silver at 4.204.98 grams, as well as a weapon without permission. The suspects have been escorted to the police station and, after interviewing the prosecutor's decision, the case is prosecuted in regular procedure”, police report. /Periscope
