Costa prior to visit to Kosovo and the region: EU's pledge to the Western Balkans is real

European Council President Antonio Costa has provided details about his visit to the Western Balkans.

My visit to the region sends a clear signal: our commitment to the Western Balkans is real; and so is the possibility of enlargement.


The moment is right there. Now is the time to produce results.


Otherwise Costa, he is expected to visit Pristina on 3 June.


During his stay in Pristina, Costa will meet with incumbent President Albulen Hadziun and incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

He will also meet with opposition party leaders.

Costas's visit comes on the eve of the EU-Western Balkans Summit, to be held on 5 June in Tivat in Montenegro.

Costa will also pay visits to other regional leaders.
