A bucket on the road set up police standing, bomb alarm near the American Embassy in Tirana goes false.

Following the intervention of the State Police, Garden forces and anti-explosive experts, it has been found that the object that raised doubts contained no explosive or dangerous substances.

Top Channel journalist Doreina Bezat suggests that it was a bucket left by the road, which, because of circumstances and location, raised doubts and led to immediate activism of security procedures.

For a few minutes, the area was surrounded by police efficiency, while the flow of vehicles into the segment near the American Embassy was blocked to enable necessary verifications.

After full control by specialists, it was confirmed that the object posed no danger to citizens and had no harmful or explosive content.

Shortly after the procedure was completed, the security perimeter was removed and circulation in the area was restored to normality. Authorities continue to appeal that any suspicious items be reported near the rule structures, while preliminary verifications in this case confirmed that the alarm was unfounded. / TCh/
