Baby Finds 2000 euro wallet in Mitrovica, Hands It to Police

Kosovo police have reported that, a minor girl, has handed over a wallet she had found in Mitrovica, where they were, personal documents and a total of 2,000 euros.
Police say that, based on documentation found in the wallet, they have identified the owner, while after necessary verification procedures, wallets and cash have been returned to him.
The owner of the wallet has expressed his gratitude to the girl for the fair act, as well as to police officials for the commitment shown, said in the statement.

At 29.05.26, about 7:00 p.m., at Mitrovica South Police Station, a minor citizen handed over a wallet he found on the road, Lam Nimani” in Mitrovica, where personal documents and a total of 2,000 euros were found.
Police officials, based on documentation found in the wallet, have identified the owner, while following necessary verification procedures, wallets and money have been returned to him.
The owner of the wallet has expressed his gratitude to the girl for the fair act as well as to police officials for the commitment shown.
Kosovo police highly appreciate this civic gesture and thank the minor for the honesty and responsibility shown.
