According to the report, after a three-month period of treatment in Albania with chemotherapy and immunotherapy, recent tests have shown that therapy has not yielded the expected results.
For this reason, doctors have recommended continuing treatment in Turkey with advanced oncological therapies.
The family stresses that Liridon Rexha has already launched the first treatment procedures in Turkey, but costs have exceeded initial expectations.
According to them, recommended therapy, which includes contemporary methods such as “Padcev + Keytruda”, has a high cost and is expected to reach about 200,000 euros.
Meanwhile, promised institutional aid covers only a small portion of the expenses, not including all additional screenings and therapies.
The patient's family has thanked all those who have contributed so far and has called on citizens to help and distribute the appeal, stressing that any support is important in this difficult battle.
