Earlier this week, the White House said a second round of discussions would likely be held in the same town, with Pakistan as the main mediator between the two countries.
But Saeed Khatibzadeh announced that Iran was seeking to finalise a “Framework Agreement” before passing to another meeting, Telegrafi reports, broadcast Periscope.
“There are issues from which Americans have not yet abandoned their maximum position”, he told the Associated Press at a diplomatic forum in Turkey.
However, there have been many exchanges of messages between the parties in recent days, according to Khatibzadeh.
He added that Iran would not hand over wealthy US uranium, describing the idea as unalable “ ”. /Periscope
