Hoxha mentions Djuric to Kosovo's recognition: The Only Road to Normalization Dialogue

Through a post on the social network X, Hoxha indicated that the focus of the discussion has also been the Kosovo issue, where Albania has reiterated its clear position on recognition.

He stressed that dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, mediated by the European Union, remains the only way towards full normalisation of relations and mutual recognition.

“I underlined the necessity to maintain, develop and strengthen regional co-operation as the most reliable path towards a common future, avoiding unjustified and unnecessary rhetoric. Albania has chosen to invest in the clarity of its positions and the consistency of its foreign policy, as well as in human contacts and in the education of a new generation with a strong European mentality.

We also accepted our essentially different positions for the Republic of Kosovo. I reiterated Albania's clear and stable stance on the essential importance and our full support for the EU-attensive dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, as the only sustainable path towards the full normalisation of bilateral relations and recognition, a result that would contribute to lasting peace and stability in the region”, Hoxha wrote. /Periscope
