In a separate statement, Naim Qasssem offered five conditions that he wanted to see as part of a peace agreement with Israel:
A permanent end of aggression throughout Lebanon by air, land and sea;
Draw back Israeli forces from territories occupied to borders;
Release the prisoners;
The return of the inhabitants to their villages, and to their cities, even to the border.
Reconstruction with Arab and international support and national responsibility.
