French Emissary: It is essential for France that all BP countries have the prospect of EU entry

The French emissary for the Western Balkans, Rene Troccaz, has been declared about his task, where he stressed that this position, which he has for a little over two years, has been created at the request of the state of France, to promote French position in the Balkan region and to support the expansion of the European Union [...]
Troccaz, in his statement, has said the main challenge for France, as well as for Europe, in the Balkan region is”stability; and that, the latter, the EU's BP enlargement is achieved.
The main challenge for France and Europe in the Balkan region is stability. Stability is achieved through European Union expansion in the Western Balkans. This is a process we develop together with our European partners, with our neighbours and friends from the Balkan countries. That's the essence of our work in this region, he said.
The French emissary, too, has stated that some states from the Balkan region are more advanced, while some less, but, he points out, the key is that everyone has prospects for joining the EU.
Western Balkan countries have received a European perspective since 23 years, since 2003. Things are advancing: some countries are more advanced, like Montenegro and Albania, while others are less advanced, but we support it all. The bottom line is that all Balkan countries have the prospect of joining the European Union one day, he has declared.
In the end, Troccas has also said that the Western Balkans are important to France.
Western Balkans are important to France, as is important to Austria, which is neighboring to these countries. For this reason, both of our countries, Austria and France, regularly cooperate and perhaps more and more for the Western Balkans. It has the issue of stability, neighborliness and European perspective that motivates us both in Paris and Vienna, it has ended.
