Through a response, OEK has expressed concern about the impact that Ethiopian cases can have on economic stability and business trust.
Oda has estimated that it is necessary for the justice system to act independently and without outside influence.
Any attempt to politicise a judicial decision, according to OEK, undermines trust in the system and increases uncertainty in the private sector.
Kosovo's “Like the Economic Ode, we consider that cases directly affecting the public budget and the investment climate should be addressed with high institutional responsibility. It is imperative that the justice system act independently and without outside influence. Any attempt to politicise a judicial decision or to pressure justice institutions undermines confidence in the system and increases uncertainty in the private sector”, is said in the OEK response, calling on political institutions and acts to show restraint and responsibility in this case.
The public dissertation must be measured and based on facts in order to preserve company integrity and prevent unfair damage to their reputation. Businesses need a predictable environment, judicial security and equal treatment before the law. Therefore, we call on political institutions and acts to show restraint and responsibility, avoiding any action that can be interpreted as intervention in justice”, is said further in response.
