In response, notes the threats to Kryeziu, were made by a person suspected of certain criminal acts, the newspaper Express reports.
These threats constitute direct assault on the justice system and, as such, will receive the right institutional response so that the person responsible can be brought to justice as soon as possible and face the legal consequences, said in response.

Pristina, April 17th, 2026 BiH State Prosecutor's Office strongly condemns threats to the chief prosecutor of the Constitutional Prosecutorship in Prizren, Mr. Petrit Kryeziu, who comes from a person suspected of certain criminal acts.
These threats constitute direct assault on the justice system and, as such, will receive the necessary institutional response so that the person responsible can be brought to justice as soon as possible and face the legal consequences.
Moreover, any attempt to intimidate or prevent state prosecutors from exercising official office in the function of strengthening rule of law is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
