After four days in critical condition at the hospital, Tilly Pilinci, 39, has lost his life at the “Villa Sofia” hospital in Palermo, bringing him to two victims.
At the time of the fatal crash in the early hours of Monday morning, Flori Topalli, 24, who was in the same vehicle, lost his life.
According to Italian media, 39-year-old was first transported to the “Barone Lombardo” hospital in Canicat '%, but because of the very serious condition, he was transferred to hospital reanimation “Villa Sofia” in Palermo, where doctors fought to keep him alive for four days. However, severe wounds resulted fatal.
The two victims, of Albanian origin, lived in the Canadian area of Naro and worked as seasonal workers in agriculture. On the morning of the accident, they were traveling to the workplace when the vehicle in which they moved crashed into a truck carrying fruits and vegetables.
