(an hour ago)Kosovo's Statistics Agency has published data on birth and death registration for May of this year.
According to the data, 2,328 births (within and outside Kosovo) were registered in May.
Of these registered births, 1,212 births are males, and 1,116 births are females.
The AKS says in May there has been an increase in the number of births around 3.0% compared to April 2026.
A total of 871 cases of death (within and outside Kosovo) have been recorded this same month.
Of the total deaths recorded, 445 are male and 426 are female. Compared to April 2026, in May 2026 there were 4,9% cases of deaths occurring less.
