Tahiri: PDK is ready for elections, whenever they are held

The head of the Democratic Party of Kosovo Parliamentary Group, Arian Tahiri, wrote through a Facebook post that the political situation is leading the country towards the elections.

According to him, this is happening not because of the lack of alternatives, but because of the rejection of political agreements.

Kosovo is heading towards the elections, not because options were lacking, but because the parliamentary majority rejected any agreement. The PDK offered concrete solutions: consensual candidate, political agreement and institutional stability. But when any compromise is refused and insists solely on party candidates, it becomes clear that the problem is not the president, but the desire for absolute control of institutions. Kosovo does not need new political crises. Kosovo needs responsibility. The PDK is ready for elections, whenever they are held, and to offer citizens a serious alternative to stability and development”, Tahiri wrote. /Periscope
