Turkey's Communications Directorate announced that President Erdogan in telephone conversation with the British prime minister stressed that Ankara is closely following the process that started with attacks on Iran.
If the interventions are extended, they could cause considerable damage to regional and global stability. There are still measures that can be taken to create a platform of dialogue and our peace-focused efforts continue”, Erdogan said during the telephone conversation.
The discussion also included bilateral relations, as well as broader regional and global issues.
According to the directorate, Erdogan reaffirmed Turkey's strong commitment to deepening co-operation with the United Kingdom in all sectors, especially in the defence industry, and said they would continue steps to advance this co-operation.
