Pirro Veng during the ceremony has passed the defence staff to the new minister, Nufi. During his speech, Weng said that his work at the Ministry of Defence taught him that authority stems, not from a loud voice, but from silent responsibility.
You know that my full-time transition as Vlora deputy does not prove to be an escape from the national security mission, rather, security is protected at other tables. In my newly grateful duty of support from Prime Minister Rama, I will always keep the spirit of this ministry with me.
Working with people in uniform has taught me humility by showing that authority stems, not from loud voice, but from silent responsibility. He taught me self - restraint in relation to the belief of absolute truths. War is always a tragedy, but preparation is necessary because to stop weapons, it needs weapons, and there's weight”, he said.
Among other things, Veng stressed that the staff is moving over to Minister Nufi as he added that Albania is in secure hands and that the mission continues.
This minister well knows the price of responsibility. Every uniform has a story and after every wound there is a human being worthy of hearing.
I'm lucky to hand the staff over to a good friend and companion. The institution is strong, Albania is in good hands and the mission continues. This minister leaves the mission with much respect, continuing with the same dedication”, Ving said, among other things, Euronews.al reports.
On the other hand, Minister Nufi said you would work closely with all to further strengthen Albania's security capacities.
Each task is to know that institutions are strengthened on the continuation and respect of those who served before us. The strategy is built daily by working people, men and women wearing uniform, commanders making difficult decisions. Today I want to express my deepest respect for every member of the Armed Forces”, he said.
There have been men and women in my family who have served in the forces of this country, who have sacrificed their lives and their families. Serving the homeland is a duty that cannot be sacrificed is a privilege that always makes you proud. I don't come to the Ministry to work alone. I will work closely with all to further strengthen the security capacities of this country”, Nufi added. /Periscope/
