Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested on suspicion of poor conduct in public office last month, after being charged with sharing confidential materials with the late pedophile funder Jeffrey Epstein.
Andrew has previously denied any violations concerning Epstein; he has not responded to BBC demands for comment on specific accusations concerning the publication of millions of Epstein files in January, the BBC writes.
Speaking to reporters in Tokyo, Carney said he thought that the miserable “ ” actions of the former York City Department should result in his removal from the line of inheritance.
Former Prince remains eighth in line for the throne, despite being stripped of titles in October due to pressure for his ties with Epstein.
Carney, former governor of the Bank of England, added: “Although very well known, the principled point remains. ”
