The United Kingdom Marine Operations Agency also said it received numerous reports from ships operating in the Persian Gulf, saying they had received messages on the closure of Hormuz Strait.
Strait is the most vital route of oil exports to the world, which connects the largest Gulf oil producers, such as Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq and the United Arab Emirates, with the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea.
According to The Guardian, the official of the naval mission has stated that Iran had not officially confirmed any such order. Tehran has been threatening for years to block its narrow waterway in retaliation for any attack on the Islamic Republic. /Periscope/
