ZERE appears in response to bad “borage”: ECCO's request for its growth unacceptable

The Energy Regulatory Office (ZRRE) said that, with the aim of accurate public information, it came up with a response to clarifying the meaning and implementation of bad debt within the fee system. Bad “Borgi is a clearly regulated element in the Ministerial Provider Entrance Rule [...]
Bad “Borgi is a clearly regulated element in the Rule for Setting Indents of the Universal Service Provider and applying for years in all tariff processes to ensure that tariffs reflect real and verified costs, as well as to protect consumers who pay regularly. Bad debt is considered only that part of the financial obligation, which even after following all legal procedures and after the depletion of all legal documentation mechanisms, remains virtually uncusable”, Z said. RRE.
The ZRRE added that it does not automatically accept the operator's demands because the subx0 tariff disorder does not build on assumptions, but on verified facts and any request is subject to analysis and professional assessment”.
“Therefore request from KESCO for poor debt growth to about 5% is unacceptable to ZRE”.
Based on recent projections, sir. RRE said that data shows improved collection after pandemic and on this base “and based on studies that have preceded this, Z. RRE has decided that the level of bad debt will be 1.8% for 2025, 1.6% for 2026 and 1.4% for 2027”,
ZERE “ensures citizens that no tariff decision is taken to protect default, but to ensure supply stability”.
All ERE regulatory processes are public and transparent, the Office said.
Each assessment is based on professional reports published for consultation and final decision-making is taken by the ZERE Board only after reviewing comments on all interest parties. This guarantees decisions based, legitimate and in general public interest”.
