It is suspected that by midnight on Tuesday, a 30-year-old man killed his mother.

Details related to the case have given Schikir Bytyqi, police spokesman for the Prizren region.

Bytyqi said the suspect was arrested.

On the date of 21.01.2025, around 1:06, police have been notified of a case of suspicious death in the village of Restelica, the municipality of Dragas. According to initial information, a male person, about 30 years old, allegedly deprived his mother of life, about 60 years old. The suspect, according to preliminary data, has had mental health problems. From the initial examination at the scene, no means allegedly committed, have been noted, while the victim has suffered several injuries in the region of the head. The suspect has been arrested by police and has been detained for further legal proceedings. The Regional Investigation Sector, in co-ordination with the State Prosecutor, is taking all investigative actions necessary in order to fully clarify the circumstances of this case”, he said. /Periscope/
