Suspected to kill mother, prosecution says 30-year-old had mental disorders

According to Prizren's Constitutional Prosecutor, it is suspected that the 30-year-old was exercising physical violence against his mother.

Similarly, the prosecution has indicated that the suspect has had mental disorders, as well as was earlier involved in three cases of domestic violence handled by Prizren's prosecution.

“Based on initial investigation data, allegedly the case occurred within the family. The suspect, F.B., allegedly robbed his mother, T.B., of life by exercising physical violence in their home in the village of Restelica. Following the acceptance of information in the early hours of the morning, the caretaker prosecutor has emerged at the scene from the Randa Crime Department, along with the relevant units of the Kosovo Police, the criminal-technics and officials of the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML), with the goal of developing and completing investigative procedures at the site. At the order of the prosecutor, the victim was sent to IML. From the prosecutor's official records, it turns out that the suspect had mental disorders, as well as was earlier involved in three (3) cases of domestic violence handled by Prizren's prosecution. One (1) case was handled during 2024, and two were treated in 2021. For these cases, the prosecution has taken appropriate legal action, filed charges, and on the same occasions brought a criminal act of 148x2>, the prosecution reports.

Prizren, January 21st, 2026 ... The Constitutional Prosecutorship in Prizren ... ... has informed the public opinion that in the village of Restelica, the municipality of Dragas, there has been a case of serious murder.
