Democratic League of Kosovo deputy Janina Ymer has reacted to this.
Ymer through a post on the social Facebook network has raised concerns about energy sector management in Kosovo, Periscope reports.
It has shown that the country is on the verge of total collapse.
Why is the current stopping and what's going on? COSTT's communications say KEDS has ordered/rested about 26% less electricity than we need. So figuratively, as in Dogan, do not market enough to import (KEDS). Because KED hasn't ordered/reservated the electricity in time, the power grid is on the verge of total coughing. To save the system from total collapse, COST is forced to order power supply (reducing) ”, it has written.
Ymer has shown that the ZRER has not planned and has allowed this mess where everyone acts on their own.
With these deviations, even blaming and excusing of the energy sector in Kosovo, power grid Kosovo risks being punished and potentially turned back under Serbia's management (as it was prior to 2021). The current waste (such as COSTT emergency import), but also generally in the daily market, is very expensive. This cost will be returned to us through budgetary emergency divisions for COSTT that are inevitable and expensive bills in the near future”, Ymer wrote.
