A California-based startup is bringing a dream of science-fantastics into reality: a hotel in the moon.
The GRU Space company, founded by Skylar Chan, has started accepting deposits of up to $1m for those who want to be among the first travelers to stay on the lunar surface.
The world's first moon hotel is expected to open its doors by 2032, although the final price of rooms has not yet been confirmed but is expected to exceed $10m.

The preliminary payment could be between $250,000 and $1m, according to the package selected, reports Oddyycentral.
GRU Space has a special approach to building: instead of transporting heavy materials from Earth, the company plans to use robots and blocks created by lunar soil to build hotel structures, adapted to extreme moon conditions.
If everything goes according to plan, hotel construction will begin in 2029, marking a historic step in space tourism and providing the rare opportunity for a unique experience on another planet. /Telegraphy/ Periscope.
