After that, lawyer Latifaj said the accused nearly 5 years are in custody, adding that this is not with the court's sole fault, but procrastination of the investigation phase and frequent shift of the court's composition.

On the other hand, accused Faton Vrajolli said postponing the trial is unreasonable, as it is in mass detention for nearly five years.

Judge Arrni said even Vrajolli's lawyer could explain to him that the decision has been made to postpone the session, with the aim of respecting the rights belonging to the accused -- in this case Kadri Sheqiri.

Arren added that the Court must take care not to engage in procedural violations, thus giving a last chance for defence giving, Kadri Sheqiri.

In the indictment of the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo (PSRK), in the case of sequencing 400kg of cocaine, accused of being the owner of the company “M C FOOD”, Izet Sheqiri, and six others, Faton Vrajolli, Kadri Sheqiri, Kadri Brahimi, Fehmi Bytyqi, Hyzri Sheqiri and Naim Morina.

Along with the five accused, Hyzri Sheqiri and Naim Morina were also charged in this case, but after reaching the plea agreement against them, the criminal case was set aside.

Otherwise, accused Hyzri Sheqiri after reaching the plea agreement with the Prosecution has been sentenced to 7 months in effective prison for obstructing criminal procedure. The accused Naim Morina, on the other hand, has been sentenced to six months in prison for obstructing criminal procedure.
