Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio has written about the meeting he had in Turkey with Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani. He has said he feels very good to have had the chance to meet Osman.
He has said they have agreed with Osman for strengthening ties between the two states through commitment to different initiatives of mutual benefit.
“We agreed to strengthen bilateral ties between Sierra Leone and Kosovo, committed to co-operating in various initiatives that would benefit both nations”, it wrote, broadcast. Periscope.
Sierra Leone has recognised the independence of the Republic of Kosovo on 11 June 2008.
Serbia, in the context of its propaganda campaign against Kosovo independence, had claimed Sierra Leone “has drawn recognition” to the state of Kosovo.
