Speaking of the controversial Serbian efforts of Kosovo's membership in KiE, Petkovic said Serbia would show its activity after the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the KiE, where even the final vote for membership or not is supposed to take place.
“There is no doubt that the entire operation of Kosovo's introduction to this international organisation is primarily directed against Serbia and the Serbian people. But many will be surprised how small Serbia fought, and with how brave”, Petkovic has said.
Among other things, he said that if the Council of Europe had established the establishment of the Serb-run majority municipalities as condition for Kosovo membership “Serbia could say some principles still stand in place”.
