He allegedly manipulated extra working hours, IPK recommends suspension of Kosovo Police Lieutenant

Kosovo's Police Inspectorate has announced it has recommended the suspension of a police lieutenant, since it is suspected the same has manipulated additional working hours.

This action according to the IPK goes towards criminal activity “misusing official position or authority”.

Kosovo Police Inspectorate, respectively, has recommended to the Kosovo Police the suspension of a police lieutenant.

The first information regarding this case has been admitted by the IPK by the Kosovo Police while conducting a preliminary investigation on suspicion of manipulation of additional working hours in the direction of criminal work “the misuse of official position or authority”, the report said.

The IKP has suggested they will be in continuous consultation with the prosecutor and are expected to take further investigative actions to clarify the case's circumstances.

“IPK investigators in continued consultation with the prosecutor responsible is expected to take other investigative actions concerning this case to clarify the circumstances of this case”, the announcement concludes.
