Haradinaj: Kosovo membership in NATO would strengthen peace, security in region

Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Chairman Ramush Haradinaj has attended the transitional service ceremony of the Multinational Specialisation Unit operating under Italian KFOR in Kosovo.

Haradinaj has said Italy has made a big contribution to peace and security in Kosovo.

“Italia is one of the biggest contributors to peace and security under the KFOR mission in Kosovo, playing a role even in many important processes for the country. The partnership between our two countries, created for years, has to deepen and expand into the important processes ahead, such as Kosovo's NATO membership, which would strengthen peace and security in the country and the region, and in this goal, KFOR's role is extraordinary”, Haradinaj has said.

Haradinaj has thanked General Capodivento for his professional and friendly engagement during his Kosovo service.

“Today, at the changing command ceremony of the Multinational Specialised Unit operating under Italian KFOR, I thanked General Capudivetto for his professional and friendly engagement during his service and welcomed Colonel Rosati, with the best wishes for success in the new task”, Haradinaj has indicated.
