Many triggers, Kosovo land remains unworked

In Kosovo, increased dependence on import food products is continuing, while some agricultural land remains untapped.
During March alone, citizens have bought products worth 652m euros -- 18% more than last year, while local producers have made sale of 88m euros.
Experts say the interest in agriculture is on the decline and that farmers are facing numerous challenges, including the lack of workers and uncertainty in the market.
According to them, parcel division and agricultural land construction are making the situation worse, endangering the future of the sector.
