The resolution is said to suspend European Union financial aid to Serbia in the event the investigation finds that Serbian authorities have been involved in voter fraud.
In addition, a series of irregularities have been cited in the resolution during the December 17th elections, such as the swelling of voter lists, including names of dead persons, violations during voting, group voting, physical attacks, voters who were sent to Serbia by buses from neighbouring countries, vote buying, which Prime Minister Ana Brnabiq has publicly thanked Russia's intelligent service for information on opposition activities.
The elections in Serbia won President Aleksandar Vuciq's party by majority.
