The latter, along with the family, chose to rest for several days in Vlora at the invitation of Eddie Rama.
The head of the government said Melon left very happy with his family, and both exchanged ideas about what could be done between our country and Italy.
Total interview:
Prime Minister Edi Rama: She went very well, she was very happy with her family. He came by ferry and rested in peace for three days. Then we exchanged some ideas because there is much to do between Italy and Albania.
Journal: You two have very opposed political routes, you're socialist, while Mellon comes to the right, but what do you have in common?
Prime Minister Edi Rama: The way we say what we think, we also have the fate that these left-wing divisions are just part of history already. As decisions must be made, we must be concrete.
Journal: There's a tour boom in Albania, are you competing?
Prime Minister Edi Rama: To say so is truly excessive, for there is no one who can compete with Italy.
Journal: What, though, can be our country's role in Albania's approach to Europe?
Prime Minister Edi Rama: Regardless of who the prime minister was, Italy has always been our lawyer and Giorgia actually talks about a European Union reunification, not just European integration.
Journal: Finally, in a special episode on social networks, a video became viral, where a group of Italians left the restaurant without paying. Is it true that when the prime minister learned that he asked the ambassador to pay the bill?
Prime Minister Edi Rama: I told her this funny little thing and everyone around her was laughing, but she was even staring at her face. He turned to the ambassador:
You're gonna have to pay that bill and make a communications and apologize because these guys are shy, and I, I don't take any of Italy's shame.
Epic: It is on this issue that Prime Minister Rama points to, on account of several Italian tourists, our embassy in Tirana has explained that it has paid off the sum in question, using the personal funds of Prime Minister Mellon.
