Police in Gjakova in search of men carrying guns, arrest two people

Police in Gjakova tonight have been looking for people who carry guns for, as he said,

to create a safer environment for citizens.

In two separate cases, police announce they have arrested two people and seized two weapons.

Police patrol of the Gjakova Police Station on “Avdullah Babalija”, while performing routine tasks had stopped a vehicle.

“In the possession of the driver (Hi. V., male/kosovar) has been found and seized a pistol with a clip and five pieces of bullets”, said the report.

Meanwhile, in the second case on the “Gasper Karaqi”, a vehicle and passenger possession (disputed M. H., male/Kosovar) has been found and confiscated a pistol with a clip and 13 rounds of bullets, which the suspect has unauthorizedly owned.

Regarding the actions taken have been announced by the competent prosecutor, whose decision the two suspects have been released in regular procedure.

To them, the case “is initiated in possession, control or unauthorized possession of the” weapon.
