Jablanovic has announced that, along with Szunyog, they have discussed the situation in northern Kosovo and the possibility of new local elections there.
Jabllanovic said the only solution to calm the situation in the north is the complete withdrawal of special units.
EU Ambassador to Kosovo Tomáš Szunyog and Kosovo Serb party chairman Aleksandar Jablanovic have discussed today the current events in northern Kosovo and the prospect of new local elections. The ambassador has been conveyed to our party's stance that the elections themselves are not a complete solution and that full normalisation of the situation is necessary, and this is possible only with the full withdrawal of special units from the north and the annulment of the indictment aimed at Serbs”, Jablanovic wrote on Facebook.
