Another contingent from Albania joins KFOR mission in Kosovo

Albania's Defence Minister, Niko Peleshi, has announced that an Albanian contingent has joined the KFOR mission in Kosovo.

Peleshi says their participation in this NATO mission clearly shows according to him, Albania's determination to protect peace in the region.

“Another contingent joins the KFOR mission in Kosovo, adding even more Albania's contribution to the Alliance. Our participation in this NATO mission is a clear indication of Albania's determination to help and protect peace in the region”, Peleshi wrote.

“Recognising the great importance of KFOR, for Kosovo and the Western Balkans, our Armed Forces are ready to serve alongside their international colleagues confirming our role as exporters of global peace and security”.
