Subtitles by mail (CEC) continue: Ratings coming in with balloting today

At the Counting and Results Centre, the vote count from the post office is continuing.
The Central Election Commission announced that by 4: 00 p.m., 57 ballot boxes have been counted in which envelopes of balloting have been placed after their approval from the CEC's voter service.
“According to procedures, envelopes allegedly containing ballotes, following the evaluation process are arranged in ballot boxes according to municipalities where registered voters come from. By this time, 156 ballot boxes have been prepared and registered on the platform. Other ballot boxes will be added to this platform until the process of assessment of all package drawn from CEC mailbox” is complete, the report says.
The vote through mail has been enabled from 21 May to 6 June 2026, while the number of Kosovo citizens registered to vote through mail was about 105 thousand.
The CEC says the process of weighing the supposed package with ballots from voting outside Kosovo has continued in the QNR, via mail.
Until the end of Saturday (June 13th 2026) in the rating process are 75,590 packages, of which 72,746 have already been turned down, 2,844. The assessment process of all packages is expected to be completed during today, Sunday, June 14,”, the CEC announced.
The CEC said the most pronounced reason why these packages were rejected is because, in 2,571 cases, the census report card is missing, a document with unique data, which the registered voter accepts by the CEC.
Also, the other reasons, less expressed, relate to cases where more than one ballot or more than one person (177), when the voter sent the package from another country to which it was registered for voting (21), when in the package only free registration card was found when the stamp or stamp was missing (5), as well as with a case when the ballot was printed. According to CEC data, 42 envelopes sent incorrectly” have been recorded.
During Monday, June 8th, the CEC recalled that the process of pulling parcels with ballots belonging to voting outside Kosovo, respectively, has been closed. The withdrawal of the ballot package was made from CEC mailboxes in 22 different states, as well as from the CEC mailbox in Kosovo. Out of 23 mailboxes, more than 85700 alleged ballot packages, most of which have been assessed by the CEC's voter service so far.
