Meeting with ambassadors for events in the north: Kurti urges internationals to condemn Serbia's actions
The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, along with the first deputy prime minister, Besnik Bislimi, invited the ambassadors, the employees, the heads of diplomatic missions and the accredited deputy ambassadors in Kosovo to an informational meeting today.
The central topic of conversation and discussion was the security situation in the north of the country following yesterday's Serb aggression against the Republic of Kosovo.
The prime minister announced them for the Kosovo Security Council meeting, which was held this morning, and with security measures the country's institutions have undertaken, as well as shared with them evidence documenting that we are dealing with Serbia's aggression towards Kosovo and that the kidnapping of Kosovo Police officials had occurred deep inside Kosovo territory.
The prime minister said this act is a violation of the constitution, the legal order, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Kosovo. He reiterated his request for urgent and condemnative response of international factors to this act of aggression against Kosovo, while also repeating the immediate release of three policemen whose families Prime Minister Kurti visited them today.
