In an interview for “Vreme”, Escobar says that in the future the US wants to exploit the good relations it has with Kosovo and improve relations with Serbia.
The United States of America will continue to contribute to the Western Balkans' progress and see it as an area of extraordinary possibilities that should be fully integrated into the European Union. If the United States had a greater role in decision-making until 2030, the entire region would be within the European Union, has declared US Deputy Secretary of State and Special Envoy for the Western Balkans Gabriel Escobar.
