After the start of the summer season when activity is multiplied in various nightclubs, bars and restaurants, the Kosovo Tax Administration has carried out activities during weekend days, in this sector in several Kosovo towns”, the ATK communiqué says.

“ATK suggests that these inspections have been made in an effort to ensure that these businesses are respecting legal calls for issuing fiscal coupons”.

Fines have to do with the failure of fiscal coupons from clubs in question.

“During inspections, inspectors have identified several cases where nightclubs, restaurants and various bars are not complying mainly with tax regulations on issuing fiscal coupons”.

Therefore, as a result of these activities, 12 business subjects have been visited, in which it is found that they have not issued fiscal coupons after the provided services. In this case, 163 fines worth 41 thousand euros have been issued, for which criminal cases will be initiated. These activities have also listed 77 unregistered workers, as well as 7 non-fiscal printers”.

We recall all taxpayers that such legal violations seriously affect the growth of the informal economy in the market, which then creates unfair inequality and competition”.
