KEDS through numerous investments throughout Kosovo, is reconsidering the distributive network. Such an investment is taking place in Gjakova, where beneficiaries will be no fewer than 25 villages.
This highly important project, worth 3.3m euros, will benefit over 4 thousand and 700 consumers, or about 20 thousand citizens of this municipality.
KEDB's investments throughout Kosovo are made in order to provide quality electricity services, by reconsisting the network of lower and medium-tensive tension, replacing it with a completely new network.
This extremely important project included 63 new transformers, 42km landlines, 58km of airlines, and more than 1,200 changed pillars.
In addition to numerous investments within the city, the underground network in the Gjakova cove is now benefiting villages: Orek Pasha, Tarkaniqi, Novosell, Dobrede, Firaj, Dujak, Herec, Planchor, Skivjan, Cavim, Janos, Bardow, Bec, Judrel, Kodrali, Cremani, Grrog, Bardeg, Jaabelle, Jablanica, Merce, Vraniq and Doblibar, Bardesa.
The outdated state of the network in these areas has caused consumers in the past to face difficulties with the quantitative supply of electricity, adding to the increased supply demand, thus causing overloads in trafostations.
All pillars that have been difficult to approach because of the terrain, some in fields and others in private courtyards, will already be located across the street, enabling our teams to intervene whenever they need it much easier.
KEDS through investment plans and their overall implementation shows the company's commitment to the pledge that it will always be close to consumers.
