Zogaj has declared that there is no full co-ordination between the central government and municipalities. According to him, the fact that the country's prime minister has not visited the Pristina municipality since a year and a half shows that a co-ordination is lacking.
We've been waiting five or six months to meet with the prime minister, we've also sent the official invitation to discuss common problems because we're talking about the capital because the capital is beyond a municipality because it belongs to the government itself. There are no major clashes but there are barriers and this issue of carrying personal revenues to us as the capital has disturbed us, because when we talk about carrying revenues we talk mainly about the capital because 35 million, 28 million are of the municipality of Pristina, and that concerns us a lot of”, Pristina deputy chairman added.
According to Zogaj, what's going on with your own income is absurd.
This is unconstitutional what's going on, so there's been a debate in the Kosovo Assembly where it found that such an act is unconstitutional and that the government cannot receive those funds”, Zogaj stated.
Zogaj has also said he does not want to believe that the blockade of his own income is a special government struggle against Pristina's municipality.
