I think the current president is better, so I want him re-elected”, Scholz said, after being asked by some children of a school in Berlin, where he was meeting with them. At that he said he'd like to see Biden on a second four-year term.
Referring to Trump, Scholtz said that “they have no connection to each other. The former president (Trump) certainly brings a large division to his country”.
Recent polls show that Biden leads the potential Republican rivals, Trump and Florida Mayor Ron DeSandis ahead of 2024 presidential elections.
